Conquest (CQ)

Conquest is an RP that involves monotype battling - all 18 types are called out and assigned to different people. The object of Conquest is to gain dominion over the other types by battling and defeating the Warlord for each type. Oftentimes, alliances are made, but the RP is supposed to end when one single type controls all the others. A more detailed description can be found in the link below.

School/University (Uni or PokeHigh)

Within School or University, users can be a Teacher/Professor who hosts a certain class, a Principal who acts as the host, or a student participating. At the beginning of the roleplay, teachers are chosen in a similar way to Conquest, in which a class name is displayed in bold, and whomever PMs the Host requesting the class first obtains the role as the teacher. Each teacher has a time limit of 5 minutes to teach the students. Occasionally there will be a break/lunch and school activities during and after the school session.

Trainer

Trainer simulates the playthrough of the actual Pokemon games. There will be a host who will assign roles - these roles, like the games, include main trainers, gym leaders, the Elite Four and Champion, and evil organization. Based on who the host is, Trainer takes place in either one of the five set regions or an original region, if the host has their own document. It’s highly recommended for the host to keep their own document to keep track of everyone in the RP.

Roleplaying through Trainer can take some time, as it’s a progressive RP. For instance, the main trainers must defeat the first gym leader in order to move on to the second, etc.

Murder Mystery (MM)

Murder Mystery is a Roleplay that contains a host, who, optionally, has a co-host, which assists the host with the managing of the RP in most cases. The players must find out, out of the group of players, who the killers are, before all of the innocents are killed. The host manages the Roleplay's documents and roles (killers, alive innocents, dead innocents, detectives (if any), and so forth), while also controling the setting and events. You can learn more about Murder Mystery in the documents below.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (PMD)

The PMD roleplay is mostly based off the spin-off series of Pokemon which the RP takes the name of, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. To completely understand what is going on in the RP, it is recommended to read up some information on the games themselves. There are two styles in which a PMD roleplay can take form, one of these being the Structured variant.

Total Drama Island

Total Drama Island is based off of the Candian animated television series of the same name, being a parody of the real reality TV show Survivor. Watching the show might help you with understanding the concept, though it usually is not needed. This roleplay is unique and similar to the custom roleplay Dungeons and Dragons in that the !roll command is used for the challenges inside of the roleplay. The host usually is the host of the reality TV show, while a cohost can be an assistant in the form of a chef. In this RP, you usually are a Pokemon who has been invited to a certain place in order to compete in a TV series awfully similar to Total Drama Island, in which challenges are done and people are voted off by the players. The goal is to be the last player that has not been booted off by vote or by losing the final challenge.

Dungeons and Dragonites

While Dungeons and Dragonites has it's name referencing a certain table top game, it actually is much less complicated than that game to be played with the room's audience. The host takes the role of the gamemaster, who takes control of the RP's setting, plot, and other things, such as doing the rolls, which are usually done in front of the players, unlike quite a few of the rolls done in the actual Dungeons and Dragons games. The players choose a class which are shown on the host's document that they use to show the current scenario, and then proceed to fight in various battles and go through the host's scenario or "campaign". Cohosts are usually not used in this roleplay, as it is easier to manage compared to other structured RPs.

Good vs. Evil

In this RP, two sides, the particular Good and Evil that are mentioned in the title of the roleplay, duke it out in Pokemon Showdown battles until one of the sides are victorious. Each team has a leader, which decide the setting of what they're protecting, and control how the groups attack. Of course, there is more to this roleplay than this; you can find more info in the document displayed below.

Structured Roleplays:

Structured RPs usually have a set plot, setting, and host. These roleplays are often (but not always) guided by the host, and interactions between participants can alter the plot. Unlike Freeform RPs, Structured ones usually do not have recurring characters, so each time is a new experience.
