Freeroam (FR)

In Freeroam, you can be a trainer, Pokemon, Gijinka, or anything Pokemon related. You are also free to do what you wish in terms of plots and setting, however, all global room rules still apply such as no legends. There really isn't much to say about Freeroam, as the RP is really open to what you can do, not being limited to the boundaries of plots and roles.

Due to this, this RP is currently the only RP that can not run in AmphyRP.

Cruise

In Cruise, unlike some other freeform roleplays such as Citylife and Freeroam, and similar to Kingdom, there is usually a host, who acts as the captain of the ship. You can think of Cruise as Freeroam on a boat. You roleplay as a Pokemon, do activities that are often done on cruise ships, and interact with other users that happen to be on the cruise ship with you, while the host controls various things such as when the ship stops, what time it is, etc.

Kingdom

While Kingdom’s name might remind you of a certain roleplay about conquering other roleplayers' types with monotype teams, it is not related to it whatsoever. Instead, Kingdom is a roleplay about living in a kingdom similar to the ones of the Middle Ages, except with Pokemon (or Gijinka if that modifier is chosen by the host) instead of humans. Players choose roles of a typical medieval kingdom, such as a king, a queen, and so forth. There is also other roles used such as rebels, thieves, and so forth, and not just royalty. When the RP starts, the roleplayer plays out their certain role. Plots are open to to the players and not just the host, and there is not a clear end to the RP, which is why this RP is classified as a Freeform, not a Structured RP.  If a player dies in character, they are either replaced through succession (prince to king) or replacement through asking if anyone wants to be the role.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (PMD)

The PMD roleplay is mostly based off the spin-off series of Pokemon which the RP takes the name of, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. To completely understand what is going on in the RP, it is recommended to read up some information on the games themselves. There are two styles in which a PMD roleplay can take form, one of these being the Freeform variant.

Prom

Based on real life high school proms, in Prom, you live through a high school prom in a typical freeform fashion. A host is usually used to manage relationships, take song requests, and to introduce everyone to the roleplay when it starts. Outside of this, the RP runs like your typical Freeform with a defined setting. Despite this roleplay often using some sort of romantic element, all room and global rules still apply while this roleplay runs. For more information about this roleplay, click the link below

Freeform Roleplays:

Freeform RPs are those that generally have a general setting but no plot and usually no host. Participants interact freely with each other and have more personal interactions. It's common to have continuity (continuing events from a previous RP) and recurring characters. As such, Freeform roleplays are great for character development.

Seperate rules for Freeform RPs that are not used for structured RPs can be found here
